ATX Indie Rock

Yes Sir, No Sir. has released their second record This is Going to Last Forever. Musically, the songs embody the dichotomy inherent within the band’s name. Sparse, atmospheric low-end grooves give way to anthemic, maximalist guitar revelry. Gothic baritone lead vocals cut through complementary swirling layers of 60s pop falsetto. 80s new wave/post punk and earnest 00s indie co-exist, tied together by unabashed big rock production. Eschewing standard “verse-bridge-chorus-repeat” structures, the songs instead propel forward organically like a spontaneous night drive (a recommended listening environment), hopefully arriving at a destination where they will indeed live on forever.

Yes Sir, No Sir. is comprised of longtime friends sharing a common desire to create music, art and entertainment they love and a family keepsake worthy of legacy.
