Yesim Saltik is a Dutch-Turkish music therapist, singer and pianist.
She completed her bachelor of music therapy at ArtEZ Academy of Music in 2018. She aspires to share music from the heart to form meaningful connections and use her Turkish roots as inspiration. Through this, she hopes to unify people from all backgrounds.
Her first album ‘Muzik Ruhun Gidasidir’ is made for Turkish migrants that suffer from dementia.
The album was inspired by music therapy sessions with Turkish migrants and the journey of her parents that came to the Netherlands as migrants.
She also collaborates with multi-instrumentalist Jan Pieter van der Giessen.
