21-year-old underground rapper based in Moncton, NB, CEO of independent record label HighDownLo (cofounded by fellow Moncton rapper YG Spartan), & the epitome of self-made. Self-taught at 16, YG KRONIK used music theraputically, as something to lean on because it provided an escape from the negativity surrounding him, and helped him unlock repressed memories from his childhood. His goal is for his music to help others in the same way it helped him, to have fun, and to leave a legacy behind that will put MONCTON RAP on the map!

These lofty goals combined with the fact that he's self made have made the development of his sound unfiltered, unpredictable & unapologetically original. His music hits like a storm; raw emotion, strong bars, and a rebellious spirit that refuses to follow the rules.
