Fast-rising rapper YHB Sleepsalot is best known for his distinct sound and quirky social media presence. Driven by his passion for music from a young age, YHB Sleepsalot began songwriting at 13 and started releasing original music when he was 16, using beats he found on YouTube coupled with his self-taught production. The willingness to hustle hard paid off when his song “Karabujan” got the attention of Hip Hop icons in the region, Sonaone and ALYPH. Following that came “Terminal” and “Blow Up”, which gained the then-independent artist a spot on Spotify’s New Era: Asian Hip Hop playlist. The young rapper has opened for top regional acts including MK K-Clique, Kidd Santhe, Tuju K-Clique. Having curated his unique sound and versatile discography, YHB Sleepsalot was signed to Def Jam South East Asia, Universal Music Singapore, in 2020.
