Yigit Karakas (b. 1997, Edirne) discovered electronic music early and began DJing at 15. After moving to Istanbul, he released two compilation albums that topped Turkey’s charts. In 2018, he co-founded People Like Us, earning acclaim with standout sets at Magic Break, Klein, Bonjuk , and more, sharing stages with Ricky Martin, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Keinemusik. Blending House, Breakbeat, and Indie Dance with analog warmth and modern flair, Yigit crafts innovative soundscapes. His latest release, Mueva (with Mahmut Orhan, Ultra Music), reflects this vision.
