Yitzhak Attias is a visionary percussionist, composer and educator originally from Gibraltar, who has built a decades-long musical career in Jerusalem. His musical journey explores the intersections of traditional Jewish melodies, contemporary jazz, and world fusion, all inspired by a Torah-based spiritual path. Growing up on the Mediterranean, straddling both Spain and Morocco, Yitzhak blends African, Latin, and Flamenco influences with the Sephardic traditions of his upbringing. The resultant style, authentic and unique, gives voice to an exquisite sound that deeply expresses his spiritual connection.
Inspired by the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov and other Jewish mystics, Yitzhak incorporates natural sounds into his music to create a universal resonance that transcends cultural and spiritual boundaries.
