Ymse is an Oslo-based band consisting of five friends who have been playing together for five years. They hold your hand through the entire spectrum of emotions as they wrap your ears in sweet melancholy, soaring synths, changing time signatures, melodic bass, and various guitar effects. The music can best be described as varied and complex. They have drawn inspiration from the last four decades of jazz, pop, funk and rock, which is expressed in the music they make (sometimes at the same time).
Ymse consists of Hedda Sofie Ekeberg on vocals/guitar, Gard Langerud on the bass, Henrik Røyne on keys, Ingar Watterud on the electric guitar and Torbjørn Syversen on the drums.
