Y.O

The musical approach of Y.O pronounced Youth On – consists of a blend of electro, house and electronica. The only duo in Mongolia orchestrating analog synthesizers, drum machine, electric guitar, and vocals Pioneering the live electronic music scene in Mongolia.

Origin of the band was in 2013 with the name of “Y.O” consisting with 5 members Itgel, Sumiya, Mergen and 2 others. At the beginning they played indie, pop and post rock at local some small venues. Their first and the biggest gig was at the Playtime festival in 2014, which now it’s the biggest live music festival in Mongolia.

In 2017, Y.O became a member of Mongol Mix Project(MMP), which is the pioneer electronic music label in Mongolia. With the support of electronic based label and experienced team of MMP, they have officially released and published their electronic tracks & album.
