The entrepreneur known as “Yogi Calhoon” was raised in Oakland , California in the Brookfield Village neighborhood of East Oakland, chosing music as an outlet to narrate what he witnessed growing up in a tough inner city household of hustlers it was only natural that he became one, at the age of 15 adopting the name "Yogi" after a his favorite cartoon character that hustled everyday to eat and his favorite gangster in a film "Calhoon" from the popular film Harlem Nights he began his empire Seven Twelve Records and began to release music which quickly got the attention of Bay Area heavy weights such as "The Jacka" from C-bos Mobfigaz and "Yukmouth" of the platinum selling group "The Luniz", the artist known as "Yogi Calhoon" has shared stages or appeared on songs with artist such as Tech N9ne, Lil Boosie,
