Inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Nicole Scherzinger and many more, Yolanda Mutesasira began singing at the age of 6. She went on to study classical voice for 7 years through Trinity College London and now combines that element of her voice to all her works.
In 2015 she was accepted into the prestigious American Music and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles to study a BFA in Performing Arts. She instead went on to study Law while pursuing music.
In 2018, she auditioned for the X Factor UK, competing for a place on the TV show. Since then she has acquired multiple TV and Film placements on MTV, Lifetime TV and Meta in the United States, having her music represented by multiple sync companies and record labels including Koze Music Publishing, Lady of the House, Circus Recordings and more.
Her sound lives and breathes in a sphere of its own, combining R&B, elements of hip-hop, dance music and pop into one.
