Yomal Samarakoon Is a Srilankan Musician.He started his music journey when he was only 11. First he sang for his family, friends and villagers. Later he joined with school bands and then some upcoming music groups.
Most people got to know him by the local and global television singing competitions he participated where he got the exposure to the professional music industry.
His first original was ‘Asa Sayam’ a Sinhalese rock song in the year 2016. And then he was continuously engaged in featuring songs with fellow local artists and in releasing his originals.
Today he is a well known singer, song writer, performer, a music composer and a full time musician Who has a soulful vocal range and tones which brings realistic feelings to his music creations.
He entertains his listeners in various styles but his interests are mainly on rock, metal, pop, country, Indian classical rap, and electronic music.
