YØRA is dynamic, gripping, and upbeat, while her music is a soulful combination of emotional, experimental sounds and empathetic songwriting.
When asked why she never writes a song about a typical youth people partying around, YØRA says “Typical things in life - grandparents or having the freedom of doing anything are something we forget to value but play the most important roles in our lives. My mission is to seek beautifulness in smaller aspects in life.” A well written song can embody all emotions of the human existence. It’s brought into life with the way she hears the modern music.
YØRA has always loved writing songs ever since she was a little girl - her first poems got published in newspapers where she sent them to. Though she participated in “Estonian Idol” in 2018, her career in music took a serious turn at the same year when joining label Masterhead Records. In 2021, YØRA was featured in International Songwriting Competition as a semi-finalist with a song “GODDESS” and in 2024, her song "ON/OFF" was also elected as a semi-finalist in that competition.
In 2025, YØRA plans to release new music and on June 1st, there is a new upcoming single "Snooze" which will also be played at Alexela Kontserdimaja venue with Free Flow Studio dancers as part of the big show.
