Yosef David, a singer-songwriter/producer, combines his smooth vocals and Acoustic guitars to create an R&B-inflected indie folk-pop sound.
Taking musical inspiration from artists like <a href="spotify:artist:4EzkuveR9pLvDVFNx6foYD" data-name="James Bay">James Bay</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5schNIzWdI9gJ1QRK8SBnc" data-name="Ben Howard">Ben Howard</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:10exVja0key0uqUkk6LJRT" data-name="Vance Joy">Vance Joy</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:5XKFrudbV4IiuE5WuTPRmT" data-name="Stephen Sanchez">Stephen Sanchez</a>, Yosef infuses his voice with R&B, and pop elements with his acoustic guitar.
Based out of Brooklyn, Yosef has played his fair share of shows for his fans in New York and across the United States. From headlining the Knitting Factory, playing Baby’s Alright, Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York, and playing out in California at the Peppermint Club.
After beginning production with his long-time friend and multi-talented producer, Shlomo Wolf, Yosef released his first single, <a href="spotify:track:46yXA0tVaDT9NaaqbJdyIt" data-name="Mayim Rabim (Raging Waters)">Mayim Rabim (Raging Waters)</a> in 2018, and after releasing another three singles, followed up with an EP, “<a href="spotify:album:4ftIYUmHkferGgMZ1g2f4B" data-name="Inner Rivers">Inner Rivers</a>” in June of 2019. In November of 2019, Yosef released an additional self-produced single, <a href="spotify:album:5eTrrkhGtk6E7G69VMbXDH" data-name="Somedays">Somedays</a>.
In 2020 Yosef released “<a href="spotify:album:5KvfnD4ExUXf4cUiQwvmZH" data-name="The Little Island EP">The Little Island EP</a>” A self produced EP that was inspired by moving back to his home town due to the global pandemic. The EP has a very upbeat acoustic-pop, alternative indie feel.
In Jan 2022, Yosef and <a href="spotify:artist:4uZYkecG20FolZDNjrB2US" data-name="Gavriel">Gavriel</a> released a collaboration single “<a href="spotify:track:0MuYNPKcJnuti9ajI3UjCw" data-name="I Am Awake">I Am Awake</a>” through Two Keys Records.
