Originally writing songs for local artists; a producer that Yoshi (affectionately coined) worked with-- previously heard a demo that she'd submitted for his artist and asked asked where he could find her music. She responded to him that she wasn’t a recording artist.
--He said, “you should be"- this moment catapulted Yoshi's career as an RNB+Soul indie artist in 2017.
