Young King – born Rasoanarivo Luciano Gabriel on January 26, in Tamatave, Madagascar – is an artist and music producer whose passion for sound emerged at an early age. At just 11 years old, he discovered FL Studio through a school friend and began crafting his first beats. Soon after, he inspired his cousins to make music and started composing songs for them, all while immersing himself in the musical atmosphere of his city, where dancehall and rap dominated the scene.

As a teenager, Young King expanded his universe by collaborating with local artists, while drawing inspiration from international icons such as Vybz Kartel, 50 Cent, Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., Young Thug, Eminem, T.I., and T-Pain. On the production side, he shaped his sound under the influence of legends like Dr. Dre, Rvssian, Metro Boomin, and Kanye West.

After a 13 year semi-pro football career, yet music ultimately took the lead . In 2020, he took a decisive step by launching his production channel on YouTube, which now gathers over 10,000 subscribers and has allowed him to collaborate with numerous artists in the industry.

Moving between afrobeat, dancehall, and pop, Young King builds a world defined by melancholy and emotion, which he considers the very essence of his art.

After years of composing and refining his style, he chose in 2024 to step back from the spotlight to focus on a more collaboration with Guyanese artist Moné, marking a new chapter in his artistic journey.
