His debut solo album Will Rap 4 Weed was a dusty, Madvillainy-style dive into underground hip-hop, setting the tone for a career built on authenticity and range. Not long after, he helped form the Knoxville-based crew The Productz, dropping the group project Enter The Cypher—a gritty boom bap showcase.

Before the streaming era, Freeman earned his stripes on local stages and college radio—cutting through Knoxville’s underground circuit and helping shape the sound behind the mic and on the air. Now, locked in with producer DevanThatDude, he’s evolving into a new sound that blends sharp penmanship with the polish of artists like Drake and others who blur the line between mainstream and underground.
