Yours Truly Jai

Yours Truly, Jai is an R&B/Neo Soul artist from Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up in the Church of Christ, the primary source of praise is expressed through the voice. Jai was able to explore by learning different harmonies and melodies through singing in the church. An only child for 11 years, music was her way of channeling emotions as a young child. Influenced by Jill Scott, Mary Mary, Destiny’s Child, Jennifer Hudson, Nivea, Keyshia Cole, Monica, Rihanna, and OutKast, Jai quickly grew into her sound as an artist. At the age of 12, she was gifted her first keyboard and from that day on, music became her passion. Jai grew into her musical career by performing at high talent shows and producing songs for herself at the start of her career. After attending MTSU for college, Jai worked to become a true recording artist, releasing her first full EP self-entitled “Yours Truly Jai” in 2019. The sky is the limit for this emerging artist, whose talent shines just as bright as her personality.
