Mbasa Ngumbela (born 3 November 1995), professionally known as YovngB, is a South African rapper, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer.[1] Born in East London, Eastern Cape, he is regarded as one of the best upcoming artists in Cape Town. In 2014, he Released he's debut mixtape, Sub Zero Vol.1. YovngB rose to fame with the release of his debut single, Fuck up the summer (2015) that got him countless booking in and around Cape Town. In 2016 YovngB was on of the founding members of Filthy Entertainment and managed to get Nasty C on the stage and share the stage with one of the countries best artists.
2017 YovngB started studying at Cape Audio College where he would graduate in 2021 with a diploma in Audio Technology(sound engineering). Currently working on he's debut album Elephant in the Room he has released 3 singles from the album namely: Mamacita prod. LIZZY Beats, Lift Off prod. LIZZY Beats Crossed ft Zoocci Coke Dope prod. Zoocci Coke Dope to name a few, Crossed ft Zoocci Coke Dope being YovngB's biggest song has since been listed on Slikour on Life as the most viewed music video and most downloaded song respectively. Lift Off prod. LIZZY Beats has been playlisted on ChannelO on the Hit List for 4months and counting, in 2020 YovngB signed a recording contract with Black Saturday, a independent record label based in Cape Town.
