Born & raised in British Columbia, Dylan Valkenier better known as "YSM Dylan" is an independent artist who brings a lot of versatility & melodies to the game with his music. Influenced by his Uncle, the 20 year old rapper and songwriter catches many eyes with his catchy hooks, relatable lyrics & outstanding improvement since his debut into the game back in 2019. 2025 was a successful year music wise but also a terrible year for Dylan due to his uncle passing away in May. He released quite a bit of music this year. Dylan only put out 1 mixtape this year, that being <a href="spotify:album:4ZNrCuiS703ibOqMl5XAto" data-name="2-0">2-0</a>. However he also released a deluxe edition to his 2024 project 'KING OF MY CITY' called <a href="spotify:album:18Q94jXNeA1h2Xs1MPJACx" data-name="KING OF MY CITY 2.0">KING OF MY CITY 2.0</a>. Dylan has major plans for 2026 with the most important being the start of him making his 5th studio album 'Easy Come Easy Go'. It's not confirmed when he will officially start working on it but fans should know that it is coming.
