YSN Hazel was born Darryl Phillip Jr on May 17 1995, in Moultrie GA. An upcoming Trap & Soul artist, YSN Hazel’s music is heavily influenced by Southern musical artists such as; T.I, OutKast, Field Mob and others, mixed with Soul inspired by Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke, New Edition, and many more.
In his music, you can feel the pain and struggle of YSN Hazel delivered through his unique raspy soulful voice. YSN Hazel hopes to make an impact on the world through his music, letting everyone know that despite going through tough times and any trials and tribulations, there is always a way out and better days ahead.
YSN Hazel also loves writing and composes his own music. He wrote his first song at age 7, learned from his mother Tamela Pallord, who was also an aspiring artist at the time. YSN Hazel has recently signed with Independent record label Got Ta Know Enterprizes LLC and now finds himself working with Grammy nominated producer Cash Clay and Super Producer Renzy808. In it for the long haul and aiming for longevity in the industry, YSN Hazel does not plan on letting up any time soon!
