Yugen

Hailing from Nashville Tennessee, Yugen are determined to scorch a path in today’s musical landscape with bombastic rhythmic structures and radiant melodies. Their intense live show immerses listeners with brutal and raw emotion.

Since forming in 2015, Yugen has played with a host of diverse artists such as Good Tiger, Moon Tooth, Eidola, Drewsif Stalin, The Ongoing Concept, Wristmeetsrazor, Sharptooth, and Sarah Longfield.

Yugen’s first EP Anatomia was released in 2017, followed by two more singles, Geiger Counter, and Madhatter the following year. In 2021, they released their second EP, Haunt, which found vocalist Shane Runnel exorcising the ghosts of his past. Haunt also introduced new drummer Branndon Center into the fold. A year later, Yugen found themselves going back to their heavy and humble beginnings with the release of the single
PAN, which tackles feelings of uncertainty in trying times as well as the superficiality of social media. Now to close out 2023, Yugen dives deeper into their core inspirations with the release of the Blood/Sand/Fire EP.
