Who is Yung C ? A rapper who grew up in North West London where he made his home is an up and coming artist with a fresh unique sound. From smooth word play to anime references , it’s clear that Yung C is an artist with a bag of tricks.
After making music for just under three years, it could be easy to assume that music was a path chosen for him. While this is true in parts, it seems that music is just one of many choices he could have made with him also having links to the fashion industry that he mentions frequently in his songs with reference to Brand “Young Cesaro”.
When speaking to Yung C and asking his reason for making such music , his answer was " There was a gap in the industry. A certain genre and topics that weren’t being covered that me myself wanted to hear , so I made it myself. I listen to all kinds on music and I also used to read comics watch anime WWE and the rest as a kid and I know a lot of others did to, so you can hear the referencing in my raps which would feel nostalgic to many who has an upbringing like mine. Life growing up wasn’t easy but who wants to play the game on easy?”.
Yung C is confident as he says that’s one of the many things the “C” stands for. He states that 2023 is the year where he feels he’s most serious with his craft , devoting hours a week to it and promising to never let there be a month without him blessing the ears of his fans with new self dubbed “Yungstyle”.
