The D.C area has many thriving artists and has created a significant influence on the young artist, Yung $em0 out of Prince George’s County of Maryland. He is classified as a rapper but also incorporates lyrical melodies in his sound. $emo’s passion for music ultimately defines him as a person. His journey playing high school basketball initiated a different type of motivation in Yung $em0 to become successful in the music industry, and provide for his family and loved ones. It is hard building a fanbase from the ground up, but one of his strengths as an artist is embracing the public opinion, $em0 aware of initial fanbase creation but he has the will the grasp one. Taking notes from icons he admires such as: Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Lil Wayne, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. He has interviewed with RG Films, performed recently at the Limelight in Tampa, FL and looks to release music soon. $em0 has been crafting his talents and using more time to write his music. Notable releases he has out currently are Bu$$ D0wn $hit, Chicken Talk ft. Soothie Bandz, and set to release is a collaboration with FAMOUSKIDBRICK as well.
