YUNG Jlmsk, entered the rap game in 2018 with his initial hit single, “On the Regular,” presenting a new, fresh alternative hip-hop type flow, capturing attention amongst the Australian rap community. Yung was born in Bunia, Africa in 2000, and moved to Australia to pursue the music industry at age 14 with fellow artist and brother, Prince Lil Jlmsk. Yung was inspired by rappers Roddy Ricch, Young Thug and Lil Baby, admiring their flow and cadences, combined with their creativity and individuality. He attended Mercedes College in South Australia, studying music and learning about how he could create and rap about his life experiences. Following the success of his first hit single, “On the Regular,” Yung decided to further pursue his rap career, releasing his first album “DEMON.” attracted over 150,000 Spotify streams in the first 6 months of its release, immediately capturing global attention from fellow artists and producers. Hits such as Good and Evil captured global attention, racking up nearly 70,000 plays alone and featured on countless Spotify playlists.. Yung released, “CLUELESS" further establishing himself in the rap game. Yung credits himself on the ability to rap over any alternative hip-hop beat, as he can create a rhythmical flow with any type of genre. Yung’s fan base has immensely contributed to his passion for music and has given him the “motivation and guidance” to release new songs, meanwhile pursuing his dreams as an artist.
