YunLi Lethabo, born Lethabo Thobejane, is a Motswako Rapper using Sepedi in here music.
I grew up in a small village called Moshate, and sadly, at a young age, i lost my dad, whom i looked up to for inspiration. This inspired me to write of my songs called Chance to Heaven
raised by my mom through hardships and trials during. I have loved my Grade 5 studies but got to take this journey seriously during my Grade 8 in 2018, inspired by Lyrical Wa Motlokwa & Fifi Cooper.
Why Music
I want to continue speaking on behalf of those who are voiceless, those who are not represented, and those who are oppressed to voice their concerns in society. I voice out inspiring young ones and about subjects that are swept under the carpet like poverty, GBV & injustice facing those unfortunate people in our Societies.
In my songs, I try to show those who are going through dark days that there's always a way out, and they must just remain patient as their turn will come.
I also advise them not to give even when they fall from grace they must stand up and try again.
I have performed and shared the stage with some of the industry’s finest, like Zanda Zakuza, King Monada, Master KG PHB’s Finest, Mack Eaze, Jobe London, Nokwazi I will be sharing the stage with many greats in the Master KG Homecoming event on the 24th of December 2024.
I have been interviewed in prominent radio stations like Thobela FM, Radio Mafisa, Pheli Fm, Mokopane FM, Sekhukhune FM, Maruleng FM, Theta FM amongst others.
