Born in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture
On 1977.2.22,
grew up in Tokyo since childhood.


Producer t-kimura noticed then 19-year-old yuri from audition program "ASAYAN"
and in October 1997, yuri debuted with <a href="spotify:artist:13Y7h239f3l2knkpG5O7Uo" data-name="m.o.v.e">m.o.v.e</a> under Avex and released the single &quot;ROCK IT DOWN&quot;.
Since then, in a span of 15 years, m.o.v.e, with yuri as the lead vocalist, has produced 31 singles and 26 original albums.
Apart from tours in Japan, m.o.v.e had also participated in numerous live events overseas, across North &amp; South America, Europe and Asia.


m.o.v.e has produced all the opening theme songs for the popular anime &quot;Initial D&quot;
and performed live in autosports events such as D1GP, Tokyo Auto Salon, Osaka Automesse, garnering strong supports from car enthusiasts.


m.o.v.e was disbanded in March 2013 and 5 years later in 2018, yuri announced through her social network that she will be resuming as a vocalist under a solo-project.


The original solo album named &quot;Eternity&quot;, which includes a collaboration song with yuri&#39;s close friend <a href="spotify:artist:7bQTvi0LDupAeQp7wPR4Gr" data-name="Tomiko Van">Tomiko Van</a>, lead vocalist of <a href="spotify:artist:0gakJs5JAKmJZ4KnAHMh9i" data-name="Do As Infinity">Do As Infinity</a>, and also a remix by <a href="spotify:artist:6XdUl9SNdiDBbZhZ1B9ubn" data-name="Chew Fu">Chew Fu</a>,
is released on 17 July 2019.
