Yusef Shabazz is a fast-rising Hip Hop rap artist from the Westside of Columbus. Growing at a fast rate in fame and appeal, he is a rapper inspired by life, making his songs distinct. Yusef chose music as a platform to express himself because this is the area that inspires him the most in life. The development of his unique style of music is the result of a lifetime of music influence he received from his two uncles, who are rappers and beatmakers. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that music first found Yusef.
His love for music also streams from the motivation he gets from major headliners and ace rappers like Biggie, Wu-Tang, Jay-Z, Nas, and Gunit. In a music era where trendy sounds are the game, Yusef appreciates showcasing an incredible level of energy and passion in his music. Regardless of the musical trends and styles, Yusef is definitive about his purpose of rap and desires to make positive impacts in the mainstream entertainment industry.
