Yves Tomas

Born in Bristol and moving to London in his early teens Yves Tomas’ upbringing was steeped in the rich musical heritage both cities had to offer, most prominently in his environment was the underground dance music and rave scenes of his parents generation. When Yves took flight on his own path of discovery it was grime and 140 that first took hold. All these important influences are very present in Yves’ unique and exciting take on dance music.

Yves started out on his industry journey in recording studios around London with prominent grime artists and later progressing to engineering mainstream pop acts. Before being scooped up a couple of years ago for his own productions by Rekids Radioslave (who has a keen ear for emerging talent- think Nina Kraviz and Peggy gou) that’s when the next phase of the journey began and it’s been an extremely eventful one!

Yves's broad musical ability took him from Copenhagen fashion week to London fashion week with 3 commissioned runway compositions and performances back to back, project partnerships with brands like Braindead, Sacai, supreme and working closely with Nike and producing award winning short film scores on Nowness (One was released as an OST on Rekids and is streaming on MUBI)

On his club music journey he now sits on a star studded lineup as a Rinse FM resident. His productions have garnered support from a large portion of the music scenes most important figures and is on heavy rotation on the underground circuit.
