Arshman Balouch, otherwise known as Yvng AB, has made quite the name for himself on social media. Starting out on YouTube where he would post videos occasionally, he got popular very quickly among schools across Mombasa and went viral on multiple occasions such as when he met Diamond Platnumz. After accumulating over 500,000 views and over 5,000 channel subscribers he decided to take music more seriously. He would occasionally post diss tracks before he started music in January 2021, however these were usually made for banter and comedy but he discovered his talent in writing rap music.
His official music career launch was massive as he had gone viral before releasing his debut single ‘Walk To The Party’ ft SM19. He was posted on Nairobi Gossip Club after he made a video showing similarities in a beat he had purchased from Kenyan Producer Terrificc and a song that Tory Lanez released. There was a lot of controversy behind this, he was offered interviews by Tanzanian Radio hosts and had to get lawyers involved aswell.
A few months later he graduated from High School and instantly created buzz on social media dropping two freestyles back to back within 2 days after which he announced his return to YouTube. Since then he’s dropped a couple songs including ‘OnlyFans’ with Canadian Producer and Artist ‘Bromar’ who’s worked with Post Malone, Kodak Black, Shoreline Mafia and many other big names in the industry.
