YXL Ayo is a UK artist of Nigerian origin who was raised in the seaside town Skegness, Lincolnshire. He makes everything from Trap, R&B and Afro-Fusion. He is a part of and also the leader of the creative group Young and Living (YXL). YXL Ayo is an artist who is not restricted to one genre of music as he aims to combine his Nigerian heritage with his British RnB and Hip-Hop sound to create artistic masterpieces. Ayo first made a name for himself as a DJ whilst a university where YXL was initially created. He then dived more into creating his own sound and becoming the artist he is today. Ayo has had numerous features on BBC introducing music, Reprezent radio, West Side radio and many other radio stations. YXL Ayo now has 2 sold out show under his belt including a show at the O2 academy in Islington. YXL is more than just a clique it is a movement, a lifestyle, and a mindset. YXL Ayo aims to bring something different and enticing to the UK scene.
