New York–based artist YXL started his music
career as a member of the Turkish National
Children's Opera. After a tragic skiing accident,
he developed tone deafness and had to flee the
country. YXL briefly settled down in Ghana
where he learned and mastered the English
language. However, after alleged acts of treason
and espionage, he had to seek political asylum
in the US, where he currently resides.
YXL now creates music that resonates with
