Zach Unger, raised between Villa Park, Illinois, and Great Falls, Montana, found his love for hip hop in 2010 after hearing Chris Webby’s White Noise LP. With a musical background in band and drumline, Zach’s journey shifted when life hit hard — the loss of his grandmother in 2018, his parents’ divorce in 2019–2020, and the fading of his baseball dreams during COVID.
Isolated but inspired, Zach turned to music as therapy, freestyling over YouTube beats and discovering his flow. Since 2020, he’s been pouring his grind, pain, and hope into multiple projects, including his TGIF series. Now focused on leasing beats, self-producing, and building his label, Melody Mystics Productions, Zach blends raw storytelling with Midwest grit.
His music is for the fighters, the dreamers, and the ones chasing light in the dark — proving that even when you feel like you’re losing your mind, you can still find your rhythm.
