Zack Settergren (A.K.A. Zacky Sickness) has been doing vocals in various bands since 2010. His previous band “Black Hare” from Eugene, OR. has opened for internationally known bands such as: Alien Ant Farm, Powerman 5,000 and Hed P.E. At the Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, CA. And Dope, and Motograter in Portland, OR.
Due to financial reasons Zack had to move away where he started producing music on his own due to lack of metal musicians in the small town he moved to. At the end of his first album he wanted two really heavy songs and looked up “Royalty Free Metal Instrumentals” when he ran in to Jacob Lizotte’s music and had him make two tracks for the first Zacky Sickness album: “Songs From the Black Sheep.” After that Zack has used Jacob as the instrumentalist/producer on all of his songs since the album “Stonebreaker.” Together they are creating music that isn’t afraid to try new genres and push the boundaries of what they are comfortable with.
