Rapper, singer, songwriter, afrobeat artist who goes by the stage name Zadi grew up in Lapaz, a small town in Accra where he got exposed to real life values at a young age as he was raised by both Islam and Christian parents and a neighborhood full of different cultures.
Being exposed to music at a very early age, he started off as a rapper and with the zeal to be able to curate his own sound, dived into production and sound engineering where he got the urge to be singing in addition to rap. Zadi describes his sound as afro slime which seems to be heavily influenced by American trap/hiphop, soul and afrobeats sounds. Having worked with Ghanaian mainstream duo Dopenation and fellow Afro Slime acts B.Brefo and Twenty2, Zadi is a gem to watch out for.
