Zafty has a weird obsession with ants.

He thinks people are a lot like them, whether they admit it or not. Born in Nigeria and raised in Perth, he’s always been a little too loud, carrying questions about ambition, identity and love he hadn’t lived yet but already felt deeply. Writing became survival first, art second.

His music lives in that space between hope and heartbreak, where imaginary love still matters
and honesty still wins. Blending rap, soul, and alt pop, he couldn’t care less about looking perfect. Inspired by his fascination with ants, he moves low to the ground with stubborn patience, carrying more than people think he can.

While still independent, Zafty has already earned national attention as a triple j Unearthed High finalist, collected 1.5M+ streams, and performed on stages across Australia, including Wildlands Festival 2025. Now, he’s entering his next chapter with his EP ORUN, a collection of songs about love he hasn’t met yet, but refuses to stop believing in. Call it delusion, faith, or blind dedication. Either way, Zafty is still searching. Still climbing. Still writing his way through the wilderness.
