A compilation of three distinct universes in their most varied references culminating in what we affectionately call Latin American Alternativism. Three people from Pará, Rayssa Tiger, Gabriel Pinheiro and Jonathan Santos, immersed in world music, experiencing traditional elements of different cultures: northern Brazil, Afro-indigenous Brazil, Latin America, North American funk, Asian instrumental music, jazz... "world music" among many other worlds! Starting with a self-titled EP "ZAGUAT" and a upcoming album in june, 2025. We all come from the same neighborhood, Marambaia, in the city of Belém, heart of the Amazon, a semi-peripheral neighborhood well known for having "everything everywhere at the same time", there is all kinds of commerce, food and small markets in small houses, which inspire the cover of our EP and the Album made by the 3D Artist: AKGRELLMANN. The name of the band ZAGUAT refers to the Territory of Zaguates, which is a sanctuary that houses more than 2 thousand abandoned and mixed-breed dogs located in Costa Rica, exemplifying a little more about our mix of cultures in the compositions.
