Renée Cain (born May 6, 1992), known professionally as Zami Maré, is a Singer, Songwriter, and Actress. Born in Miami, Florida, she moved to Athens, Alabama at the age of ten. Writing poems as a child and singing in the church as a late teen, it wasn’t until 2017 that Zami finally pursued a solo career as an independent artist. She decided to bring her poems to the studio and have the world get to hear a new side of her. In Summer of 2019, the young artist released her very first single “I Am Enough” and then followed with her Pop single “I’m Yours” in October which she sung as an opening act for the renowned group Nappy Roots. The rising star released her first EP in Spring of 2021 and is set to release her second album in Summer of 2022.
