“Summer isn’t over yet” is more than a lyric from Zara Larsson’s perennial hit “Midnight Sun” — it’s a statement of purpose. A decade after dropping her first international single, 2015’s “Lush Life,” the GRAMMY-nominated Swedish sensation is taking her rightful place in the zeitgeist as a Main Pop Girl. In 2026, while her sold-out tour raged onward, she lodged three songs in the Hot 100: the recently viral “Lush Life” (#35, video nearing 1B views), “Midnight Sun” (#39), and PinkPantheress collab “Stateside” (#6, and #1 on the Global 200). All of that followed hot on the heels of Midnight Sun, Zara’s fourth, truest, and most vibrant album to date, made with a tight trusted team (MNEK, Margo XS, Helena Gao, Zhone) and unafraid to show all sides of the star: lovestruck, wistful, ambitious, flippant, fun, uncertain—often in the same breath. If that radiant LP was inspired by the feeling of an endless summer night in Stockholm, then the globe-trotting remix album, Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, is what happens when that night rolls into an infinite season of pure pop energy where everyone is invited. For the reinvented set, Zara opens up her acclaimed album and shouts, “GET IN, GIRL!” to a worldwide all-woman lineup including icons like Shakira, Robyn, Tyla, Kehlani, PinkPantheress, JT, and more. The collection crosses borders, genres, and vibes for a series of unforgettable musical moments of authentic self-expression, diverse artistry, and total hands-up, top-down, open-air freedom.
