“Rapper/songwriter Zayy is an up-and-coming hip hop artist to watch. Raised in Raleigh, NC, Zayy started rapping and writing his own rhymes in high school, while tapping into and experimenting with his musical sound.


Not long after his high school days, Zayy began independently releasing music, resulting in his first lyrical EP, Out of Time. Citing J. Cole, Drake and Jay-Z as his major influences, Zayy landed on over 300 unique Spotify playlists in 2019 alone.
