American music artist Zean Otey draws his main musical influence from Jazz/Blues moods, with a strong exposure to gospel, and classical music in his early years shaping his unique style. Starting his writing journey at just 15, Zean’s first completed song, Goodbyes, had a folk sound that has evolved into his now recognized Americana sound. His eclectic musical tastes include traditional classical music, contemporary country, alternative 90’s rock and pop, blending together to create his present-day sound. While also running his own construction company, Zean is dedicated to nurturing his independent music career with the goal of becoming a full-time working musician. With a promising future ahead, his passion and talent are sure to continue to shine in the music industry.
