Indie soul duo, Zee & No Calvin, stemming from Burnaby, British Columbia, met while living in a home with a vocal booth in the kitchen, two jam rooms, and fifteen other creatives; they quickly realized they shared a love for both hip hop and live instrumentation, this common appreciation led them past jamming into writing and recording tracks together.
Zee tends to the vocals and lyrics, while No Calvin handles the production and instrumentation. After Zee completed his first album with Andrei Basirov, 'Burnabarian', Zee and No Calvin formed a band to perform Phillips Backyard Weekender Festival in Victoria, B.C; shortly afterwards, the duo began committing to a studio space to record their upcoming album entitled, HEAVY LISTENING. With a plan to release a single every other month this year, as well as music videos and live sessions, there’s a lot to look forward to.
