ZEMO, a rising name in Malaysian Hip
Hop Scene actively started since 2009. Kicking off his Hip Hop career by making YouTube
covers of Hip Hop hit songs before producing his own songs later in his career year.
Zemo’s first hit song “AKU RESPECT” featuring Amarah Emcee topped the local
radio chart for nine (9) straight months, setting the records for local Hip Hop as the longest
Hip Hop song to have topped the chart.
In 2016, Zemo performed alongside his Hip Hop collective, Lawalah Familia,
another well known Malaysian’s Hip Hop collective representing Malaysia at the House of
Vans, Singapore after winning the finals back in Kuala Lumpur surpassing other talented
bands and acts.
2019 started well for Syamel Izwan after the release of his next hit song featuring another
rising name in Malaysian Hip Hop, MK from K-Clique called “KEJAR MASA” which is a
phenomenal Hip Hop wave hitting over 700,000 views on YouTube in just a matter of two
(2) months upon release and still progressing.
Lawalah Familia and Kuching Connexion are among the Hip Hop collectives in which
Zemo develop his career by performing, producing songs, and promoting Hip Hop
alongside other big names which is also parts of Lawalah Familia and Kuching Connexion.
