Zen isn’t a character.
Zen is someone’s name.
It belonged to a friend.
In 2018, he died in an accident. The kind of accident that happens fast, without explanations, and leaves everyone around asking themselves the wrong questions. Could we have done more? Why him? Why that night? Why not me?
After that, there was just a lot of noise. People pretending they were fine. Music that sounded empty. Days that blurred together.
So his best friend did something that might sound strange.
He invented a way to keep him here. He created Zen.
A quiet creature. One that doesn’t talk, doesn’t smile too much. One that just exists to slow people down. To remind them that the world is loud, but we don’t have to be.
Zen became a place to sit with the things we don’t know how to say.
A way to tell animals, people, and lost souls that it’s okay to not be okay.
That maybe we don’t need to rush anywhere.
That maybe we can just... stay. In the sadness. In the quiet. In the parts of life that don’t make sense.
That’s all this is.
