Born and raised on the Illinois side of the Quad cities (if Illinois is a lady with no head standing west, we're the boob), Zig9y came from a parental musical background of classic rock and Shania Twain. He first heard a rap song in 1999 and has continued to fall in love since. He has written since 10 years old and after nearly 20 years of being scared to share his art, finally released his first song, "Daydreamin'" on streaming services on November 9th. Since then he has released a 3 song EP "My Too Sense" as well as 3 singles from his upcoming album. His biggest influences are Mac Miller, De La Soul, Redman, Royce Da 5'9 and all the musically inclined homies met via social media over the past year and a half.
