Zinssou Quartet (DK) is not afraid to redefine the boundaries in which a modern jazz quartet operates. With piano and cello in front, the quartet mixes elements from classical chamber music, traditional nordic music and modern New Yorker jazz.
The quartet's debut EP “Et ungdomstestamente” is a tribute to naivety, aspiration, and all the things that characterize youth. The young band has an intuitive and explorative approach to the music through their pursuit of an honest and vivid expression.
With a strong presence in the music, Zinssou Quartet invites the listener into a sensitive and playful universe, that touches body and soul.
Zinssou Quartet won the first price in the official Danish Jazz Competition 2025.
