zircon (Andrew Aversa) has been creating sonic worlds with synthesizers and organic instruments since 2003. His signature style incorporates elements from genres like drum and bass, progressive breakbeat, trance, dubstep, and future bass, with deep melodic and atmospheric writing that can be enjoyed on the dancefloor and far beyond.

Taking inspiration from classic science fiction, anime, and video games, zircon’s major works such as Identity Sequence (2012) and Arcology (2025) take the form of evocative concept albums, guiding the listener through emotional experiences intended to leave a lasting impression.

Along with his solo artist work, zircon’s 300+ track discography encompasses original music written for video game soundtracks, from indie to AAA, and featured in TV shows, commercials, and behind the gameplay of many popular streamers.

zircon is also the owner and co-founder of the music software company Impact Soundworks since 2008. Whether creating virtual instruments for hundreds of thousands of customers around the world, including Grammy & Oscar-winning composers, or crafting intricately-layered electronic music, his passion for new sonic experiments continues to burn – as it has for over two decades.
