Ziyo comes from Tarnow, a town with a unique spirit. In the summer of 1986, ZIYO played at Jarocin Festival and since that time they succeeded with a huge recognition of there music in the polish music industry.
In September 1987 at modern Rzeszow Studio RSC Ziyo is recording material for a debut album released 2 years later. Soon they started to work on a second album "Witajcie w teatrze cieni" which was released in 1990. Next Ziyo recorded material for the album "Gloria". All the songs on the album were translated into English. In September 1993 Ziyo started to prepare material for the album called "Tetris". The single Magical Words (Magiczne Słowa) became a hit in polish Radios and television.
Between years 1996 and 1997 Ziyo played concerts and started to record a new album "Spectrum" which appeared in the end of 1998 year promoted by a single "Deja Vu 1986". In 2001, a greatest hits album was released named Exlibris Magic Songs from 1986 2000. After the album was released, the band decided to head out for a break lasting for three years apart. In the middle of 2005, Ziyo surprised fans with a brand new album POPBURGER. In 2009 Ziyo released album entitled "Puzzle" followed by a singles "SMS 636", "Poste Restante", T...M...K... (Tylko Mnie Kochaj)", "Mesa Boogie" and "To jeszcze nie koniec".
