Zoe Valderrama

Zoe Valderrama is a passionate, young singer (born 22nd January 1999) from Alaior, a town on the Spanish island, Menorca.
Since a young age she has shown an interest in classical music, being influenced by opera icons such as Pavarotti and Maria Callas, and at the age of eight Zoe began singing lessons in her home town. She took on principal roles in children’s operas and performed solos in various concerts.
It wasn’t until 2011 when Zoe found her passion for jazz and soul, listening to legends such as @Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Adele and Billie Holiday, to name a few. Since then, Zoe decided to dedicate her time to jazz music and in 2014 she met Rafael Febrer Barceló, a composer and guitar teacher who kick started the creation of “Nothing”.
Over the following two years, Zoe and Rafael an made demos influenced by her own personal life. It wasn´t until 2016 when Rafael and Zoe met again to begin recording the album in Rafael´s studio. The first song recorded was “Nothing”, hence the name of the álbum. By 2018, the recording was complete. In addition, photo shoots with Patri Coll took place. @Patricollm also worked with Zoe to produce the album cover.
