0-Brien

0-Brien, an alternative punk rap artist, has begun to stand out in the underground scene due to his genre experimentation while constantly evolving his sound and delivery methods in the process. While writing and producing his tracks he strives to invoke the brutal and honest qualities of his emotions, specifically hoping to heal himself and his listeners.

Present day the goal has been to use the fire lit to burn down assumptions of art. Living in Nashville the day to day scene fueled by the music industry machine is around every corner. Singer songwriter focused on safety points that play into the payoff. Talented artists that feel the need to dilute their work in order to please an algorithm or to hold profit as priority. The lack of nuance has led 0-Brien to challenge the line drawn.

Whether it be taking guitar leads and brutalizing them to an off putting tone like he did on his single “Don’t Be a Cop.” Or choosing to take a stand and “join the fight” on songs like “F.F.C.”
The next release taking all of those aspects and once again choosing to protest with hopes of awareness being had. Shedding light on the grime and harsh realities will never be something that 0-Brien strays from. Instead stamping his footprint like graffiti on a train, passing by you full steam ahead whenever you see a zero marked.
