A mix of Funk, hip-hop and jazz, 112 Brass Band develops an urban groove delivered by and english-speaking MC, brass instruments and real life rhythms.
This band reunites on stage the energy of New-Orleans Brass bands and an organic Hip-Hop sound, following the steps of The Roots, the Youngblood Brass Band or the Soul Rebels. The eight musicians come from different musical background (funk, jazz, hip hop, soul, pop) and blend their experiences in this new colorful project.
Jonas Muel, Fabien D. & Edash Quata are inspired by James Brown, Guru, 2Pac, George Clinton or Public Enemy to create a powerful, fresh and modern music as well as audacious covers to clean up you ears and make you dance!
